In addition to sharing SendOutCards with everyone you already know, you’ll want to begin meeting new people. If you visit the online Daily 8 training material, included are a few examples of cards you can send when using these marketing methods. You do not need to use all of the following methods. However, we suggest that you start using a few that work well for you.

Warm Market List

This is the number 1 way to build your business. Your warm market list is a list of people that you already know. Think about the people you know who would be interested in this opportunity. (This is the activity you completed earlier, by listing people who would like to receive a card from you.)

Lifestyle Networking

Market your business while you’re out doing what you are doing – going to the bank, the grocery store, the doctor’s office. As you participate in your life’s various activities, send cards with pictures to the people you meet. For example, if you are at a gathering of family, friends, or business associates, capture the experience with pictures and send cards to others who were there as well.

Reciprocal Marketing

Reciprocal marketing is very simple: Every time someone offers you information about something they are involved in, reciprocate the offer. For example, when you purchase a product or service from someone, send them a card and mention SendOutCards. This is a great way to gather leads for Gift Account Walkthroughs.

Swap & Drop

This method is simple but very effective. Just swap business cards wherever you go and with everyone you meet. Drop them a greeting card once you enter their information into the Contact Manager. This method has proven to be a great way of introducing yourself to others.

Network Meetings

You are in a relationship business, and the more you network and mingle,  the better. By joining groups like BNI, Le Tip, your local Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce groups, or other groups, you are expanding your contacts. Use business cards and share your SendOutCards web address. When you swap business cards with others, take notes on them so you can follow up by dropping them a card. Make sure it’s personalized, to show you paid attention to meeting them.

Event Marketing

Host or attend events that allow you to present SendOutCards and meet new people. From in-home meetings and luncheons, to trade shows, fairs, and expos, there are a variety of ways you can host or participate in events.

Social Networking

Social networking is a great way to reconnect with people, but make sure you focus on reconnecting with them and not trying to sell them something. Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, etc., are all good places to reconnect. Once you have established a relationship, feel free to introduce your friends to SendOutCards.
